I've tried to see how long I can go without music (it has nothing to do with Lent - I honestly could not give up music for 40 days) before I go insane. I haven't listened to any since Monday. So at the moment I have Aerosmith's Rag Doll in my head. I know I will probably listen to some tomorrow because I am finding it pretty hard now. This is mainly due to the fact I have been looking up obscure musical genres on Wikipedia. One of the genres I want to know what it sounds like is 'Ethereal Wave'. It just sounds so magical and makes me think of some fairy tale place with a huge crystal castle. How awesome would it be to have a crystal castle in some grassy plains with some forests? I could dazzle enemies with the crystal's brightness and they would fall down, blind. But then I would have to clear up their dead bodies from my perfect land. Or maybe they would just disappear when the crystals shone on them because they are magic crystals.
Enough talk of crystal castles (isn't that a new band or something? I think my friend likes them), my friend requested a rather odd image for me to draw, so I have been drawing it on Photoshop Elements but probably will not get it finished for a while because I am a perfectionist (just got Faith No More in my head now - they are reforming! How cool is that!?) and need to get it to look just right. I love the sky and the clouds though, the sky is blood red fading to orange and the clouds are orange too. Everything is coloured in but it just needs shading. Drawing the picture is good because it distracts me from my stats, which I must go and do...
